A NEW CHAPTER
FOR ANCOATS WORKS.

We’re planning to turn Ancoats Works into a thriving community, with a mix of canalside apartments, townhouses, gardens and a space for a new local business.

This is your chance to join the conversation and feedback on our plans before we submit them to Manchester City Council.

The consultation closed on Monday 6 December 2021 – thank you to everyone who shared their views!

ABOUT
ANCOATS WORKS.

The site is bordered by Pollard Street and Carruthers Street in Manchester. It’s next to the existing Hope Mill as well as the Ashton Canal.

It’s got loads of untapped potential. Over the years the buildings have been used as  a storage depot and a variety of industrial uses, but now they lie empty. Where possible, we’re restoring parts of the existing structure, including the iconic Ancoat Works frontage facing Pollard Street, other areas of the site will need to be dismantled.
